Short and delicious. Very few words, but still exceptionally descriptive. I feel like I'm living a live with no milk today. Always a joy to read your work!

it's all too crazy and tragic....thank you, Elwyn.
A very moving piece. I could even smell the scent of coffee brewing and pastries in the air. The sound of laughter, of people chatting. Lovers holding hands, a shared kiss. Then in a moment the world went dark, and I touched my face to see if my eyes were still open. Hoping it was just a dream. But I awaken to a tragedy for all humanity. Praying for peace
in the world
in the midst of such darkness.

The last line "overturned coffee" really spoke to me.
My thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and their families. And just before the holidays. It's heart breaking.
All we could do is pray for peace.
I hear you what you be talking 'bout: #ParisAttack!
