always a loaded past

always a loaded past

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

always a loaded past

you suicided me with one look

so i took the life of my own heart

before you had a chance

to steal that pleasure.

Holey heart, Batman, you shot yourself with a loaded past!
Concise and meaningful, Jacob!

biff, bam, whoosh....thank you, Jimmy...

sounds like you broke yourself before she broke you. Sometimes it seems self inflicted pain is better than the pain caused by someone else. But i think the saying goes "better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all". Sometimes one must break it off before one gets too hurt though, pain management.

So much pain when we allow others to create havoc within our lives but suicide should never be an option as far as I'm concerned

I kind of figured that just a view point to share but your welcome Jacob
Ouch. That very thought just set my heart on fire. I just love this. Absolutely. So beautiful. They are a rare breed, indeed. A person who wields that kind of power; the power that can hold a person, with a mere gaze. as if they seem to see right in to your soul. I avoid those as well. Haha...love this, j.

This one is cryptic...and stong, emotionally speaking.

Thanks for sharing.

Like the wolf that chews off it's own leg to free its self from a trap. Strong statement!

Encyclopedic implications and I kind of laughed at your own brilliant strategy.

Bravo Jacob!
