Pin-pricked Senryu of the Heart

Pin-pricked Senryu of the Heart

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Pin-pricked Senryu of the Heart

poem in freezer bag

to save for another day

burned words now useless

can't eat them

write them

or recycle them

I'm amazed at your understanding of human nature and how you sum up things in few. You are talented indeed...:)......................

I wonder if the bag will seal in the freshness of this write when it comes out of hibernation!!
ahh, but you CAN heat them up , devour them like warm chocolate and strawberries! Hurt me, beat me, make me write bad checks! lol, loved it.

always my pleasure Jacob :)
Once those words leave our heart or mouth, we cannot take them back. Best to use them up..no freezing. Valentine

Some words are left to be erased
gone for life
because in placing them anywhere near our body
we experience pain

Who doesnt steer away from that

So aptly described...yet sometimes those words in a freezer bag can be thawed and made to simmer in spice again. It is great to read your eloquent words again.
