I love the feel of this poem, and in my eye's mind can see the last leaf of fall. Fall is a muse unto it's self.
It can take on any persona. Your play on words are full of imagery and most poetic.
Brilliant metaphor... When we truly love someone even death does not break the bond.

There are times when I sit here and chew poetry for hours..and then there are moments like this one...my coffee poured, my thoughts hazy. I read a real piece and instantly I am full and awake. Full with life...with love...with sadness...with hope. It's beautiful!
Seemed, you capture the season affairs in words. Liked it. Yeah, every breeze's way breezed to feel the eternity of love . . . peace . . . and beauty. And, you paint it all well in words, undisguised. Keep it up!
