the white room next doorA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
please
don't clutter my in-box with your spamified
kisses i don't fall for that
virus laced fantasy anymore
my insanity doesn't need
company so reroute your
intentions and e-mail someone else
your expectations
i am content to write
myself letters of in-congruent theme even with the transient
typos
perfection never became
me and i never became it but fluency in
flirtatious efficiency knows no bounds when it is in a natural
state of connotation
so segregation from love will immigrate to my
hard drive for the moment
and my mistakes will be
saved for only me to see, in a file of solitary
meaning.
