rebirth of yesterday

rebirth of yesterday

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

rebirth of yesterday

the stretch marks still exist

even after the painful memories

exit the womb of reflection

Short and so full of meaning
this write is all about the marks we all live with
Yesterday paved the journey to many tomorrows :)

Hmmm.
I'm reminded of Scripture.
"Can a man enter the womb and be reborn?"
It seems the answers is obviously no, but then again yes, a man, a woman, a thought, or a memory must be reborn to find be fulfilled...
Me likes, me thinks. 😃

This is huge! I think one of your better attempts at the novel. Bravo Jacob!

i love this one so much.

probably one of my favorites of yours recently.

this could be about 9/11, a break-up, or the passing of a loved one.

anyone can relate to this one....

i see a poet giving birth to a poem, the stretch marks his reminder of how he carried those swelling thoughts, eventually pushing them with pen into the world...those stretch marks never leave...
