And pledge is over rated...
Dust with just a cloth-and love fills the air landing fleetingly
Dust love with a damp rag and it ,well it molds
How about letting the dust alone? Let it build on the table
No one will have a reflection but love will have a forever home
You can write names in it -dust mite memories

hey Dusy Holly, thank you for your insightful words,
I remember using Pledge every Saturday when my mother would ask my younger brother and I to dust the furniture...i remember there always being stains we could never remove...my father once said that the only way to remove the stains from the end tables was to sand them out... those end tables now sit in the corner of the shed and still bare the stains we left behind and for some reason I can't seem to sand them away... some memories stay forever...a thought provoking read this morning, my friend...thanks...

and thank you for your kind review, FT. --thanks for sharing....
Wonderful play on the word "pledge".....it's so shiny, I can see myself in it! :) It's impossible, though, to wipe away memories of a love that once was. The "wood" is stained with pain, no doubt about it. Good one, Jacob. Lydi*
