To Christina...

To Christina...

A Poem by Eric Cox
"

A tribute to Christina May Shanaberg, who passed from this Earth on June 8, 2012. Her kind presence is missed.

"
Christina: your heart shimmered upon each write
WritersCafe was where your gift as a writer soared bright
Delighted in reading pieces of the soul
Though in your health you shined not full

I remember the times you graced my site
You loved the pieces I weaved with light
Nature and writings holding life's pain and love
You were a friend touched by the breeze of a dove

On June 8, 2012 you passed from this cold Earth
Where tragedies plague which should never find birth
Now you're in the healing cradle of a land golden bright
Where angels soothe away the sorrows of night

The wonderfully written poem and the accompanying reviews introduced me to Christina. The honor given to her by Eric is an exemplary work. She is surely be honored foe her deed.
The emotion and passion for Christina bloomed like a fragrant flower of the paradise.
Let's pray for the eternal peace of Christina.

Thank you Eric for your kind compassion. I will always treasure you as a writer and friend as my precious daughter did. I know she is in a better place where she will not have to endure the pain any more. God bless you.
