Winter snowflakes spiral into our hearts too soon ivory magic beauty departs in northwest Oregon snow crystals are rare I love when beautiful ivory ice flares they float down upon the cold winter air ice flakes of beauty kill weather so bare eyes glow in delight from this frost white show hearts sing at the beauty setting sites aglow I'm longing for snowflakes to spiral softly down longing for frost white beauty to carpet the ground beautiful snow, I love it, let its beauty glow let it paint Oregon, let ivory ice flow to see snowflakes float down past my window, so divine to play in the crystal beauty would cause my soul to shine come and blanket the bare land, cause beauty to enshroud create your ivory ice flurries for each deprived crowd winter snowflakes spiral so deep into our hearts ivory magic beauty frosts the lands with art
For some reason this reminds me of shadowland. I don't remember snow in it but even now, in Texas, in May I can see it and almost feel it, almost. I was five, I think the last time I saw real snow.
Yes, some parts of Oregon snowfall is rare these days. Once upon a time it was different. Your poem here is truly lovely, it paints the beauty that snow falling is.
