Dream ClausA Poem by Eric CoxAbout a man who died and returned to spread light as Dream Claus.A store Santa Claus with a heart of gold
died before his time, lonely and cold God heard his heart's wish to shine light to the world God granted him powers and his dream soon unfurled Down the chimneys, if none then through cracks in doors here comes Dream Claus soothing children's cores his ghostly image emanates kindness each Christmas night causing the dreams of each good child to shimmer bright a ghostly mirror of Santa to any child's capturing eyes God alters time for Dream Santa to complete a job of such size each child's Christmas shimmers in dreams of wondrous enchantment each child for a time is captured in virtual dreams Heaven sent Dream Santa smiles at the wonder and beauty touching each child within each magic dream any cold is soothed as love streams wild no Christmas is lost to no gifts beneath the trees now that Dream Claus is here fulfilling fantasies when each dream has subsided Santa leaves a gift aglow then out through a door or chimney he departs with a ho ho ho many can feel his echo of hope as he soars out of sight casting a beautiful Christmas and a very soothing light © 2014 Eric CoxFeatured Review
