The Dead Come Back

The Dead Come Back

A Poem by Eric Cox

Creak, crack
the dead come back
Plead and whine
with shivers up your spine
Scream: no, no!
but the dead will not go
Run and hide
but hope has died
Trip and fall
you can't stand tall
Accept your fates
a coffin awaits.

Fantastico!
I love how you lessen the fact that there's no hope for survival
I see this more in a zombie movie where a small girl is walking down the street and the zombie chasing after her as they peek from a house, people already torn to bits. Loving it!

Wickedly funny little rhyme, definitely one that should be sung halloween night! I pictured little girls and boys skipping to this >:]

This reads like a very dark nursery rhyme! Scary, chilling with a catch tune!

This is a catchy little tune and fun in its dark horror! I can just imagine little kids holding hands and dancing in a circle singing this!
