Please Mr. Undertakers

Please Mr. Undertakers

A Poem by Eric Cox

Please Mr. Undertakers
don't put us six feet under
we are not really dead
trapped in each coffin bed
we silently plead and whine
with shivers up our spines
we try to scream "no, no"
as you put us below
we can't run and hide
no tears can be cried
God! don't bury us deep
you sinister creeps
stop whistling those joyful songs
can't you sense something's wrong
we are still alive!
in death we survive
we haven't passed away
we're starting to feel decay
this nightmare will not die
death tears we internally cry
Please Mr. Undertakers
don't put us six feet under
we are not really dead
trapped in each coffin bed

This is the cryptic, macabre sense of humorous that I ache for. Very strong write and a very unique subject. Its refreshing to read something that stands out so much as this. I live everything horror. :p Fantastic job. And did you draw the Color penciled pic at the end? Very fitting! I like it.

A very dark, sinister and chilling poem with a slight touch of very dark humor in it. I enjoyed this one a lot. I give it a 100!

Wow, this is very frightening. Being buried alive and screaming for help from some madmen who won't help you! Chilling and creepy!

I had a thought when reading this those being trapped might be vampires but I think they'd be able to escape. This is the ultimate horror, being buried alive! Ugh!
Another outstanding write.
