Ivory snowflakes fall from an ivory sky beauty drifts in the air and our spirits climb high beauty begins to carpet the grass and the trees we are surrounded by an ivory ice breeze we walk down the path with joy shining in our souls Mourning Doves sing and their lovely haunting song glows ivory snowflakes keep spiraling from the sky the beauty of nature created from God's eyes we toss snowballs at each other with playful smiles our hearts are light and filled with wonder like a child's squirrels and small birds chitter in this frosted land we continue down the snow white path hand in hand we reach the ivory painted meadow and sigh beauty surrounds us and our spirits touch the sky we make snow angels beneath Heaven's shining light though near our golden years our souls glow young and bright we create a snowman before heading back home we are thankful for the beauty nature has shown ivory snowflakes touch our hearts and frost the trees creating a beautiful ivory white breeze.
As always, you paint a beautiful picture of this very cold season in nature. It seems even in the golden years we can remember making angels in the snow and how we enjoyed all the fun that snow provided for us and it does bring a smile.
This paints a very beautiful picture. I wish it would snow here. It's just raining, dull grey and raining. Your poem here is what I'm dreaming of. Nicely done!
