The sun's fiery rays flare the air is tombstone bare it's stifling my breath a graveyard of death the fiery orb blazes down scorching each haunted town its' fiery veins stretch inside my house is tombstone dried it's as hot as blazing sin the God of Fire slyly grins many plants gasp for relief cool refreshment dead in each leaf Yesterday I had to go on a trip outside I nearly wound up being fried my blood felt like it was boiled within the flaming sun nearly scorched my skin I barely crawled back to my apartment home I took a cold shower and was refreshed to the bone then I stepped out into the torturous heat the cool days of Autumn I cannot wait to greet but right now the Summer sun's fiery rays flare and it's hard to breathe in the air that is tombstone bare.
After reading this I feel like the summer heat just flared up for one last moment of glory. Love your poem here. Summer can get pretty bad after a while. Longing for fall here!
This paints a perfect picture at how miserable summer heat can make us. It's fun to go on trips when we want it nice with no rain but otherwise, miserable! Awesome write.
