A Black PantherA Poem by Eric Cox
Within a misty jungle of green
a mysterious feline can be seen a lone black panther stalks her prey silent and deadly beneath skies of grey her bright green eyes seem to shine a beautiful and graceful feline the heart of a hunter beats within she kills only for food unlike men she takes down her prey and feasts here she is queen of the beasts she finds shade near a winding stream a quick drink then she rests and dreams she purrs contently as the day moves on soon the dark of the night will dawn her life will continue in her jungle home the beauty of the black panther shall be forever known. © 2010 Eric CoxReviews
