Death's DriveA Poem by Eric CoxDriving down the highway late one night I heard a loud roar and saw bright lights coming down the highway and in the wrong lane the thought of facing death really blew me away.
Death was driving, I was waiting for an end to this nightmare Tires were burning, Death was smoking them everywhere. The roar of Death's engine echoed that night Death's supercharged Chevy blazed burning rubber down the highways.
Death was driving, I was waiting for an end to this nightmare Tires were burning, Death was smoking them everywhere.
I switched to the other lane and Death's car did the same then flames lit up the night God's presence in the firelight as Death lay there grasping for air I saw an end to this dark nightmare.
