On The 4'th

An independence day poem.

Shimmering sparks bursting in air
the echo of thunder aflare
the spirit of America aglow
the breeze of celebration echoes.

Let freedom forever shine
let it never wither upon the vine
let us be thankful for America, give praise
each 4'th let starbursts of celebration blaze!
