Kaiser Permanente THRIVE?!

The tragic state of health care, my experiences with neglect in Kaiser.

Pain gnawing within my ears

haunting for 10 long years

not one test to find what's wrong

"Thrive" is a load of crap so strong.

Where's the grand quality care they advertise

they've lacked true concern, lies and sparse tests to arise

If their doctors are really “the cream of the crop”

over to other health plans would be a nightmare hop.

They do not care to get to the bottom of what ails me

they've ignored, guessed & thrown meds to pain ailments roaming free

ear diagnoses are guesses to this oh so fine day

a sharp med reaction bloomed pain neglected but for one x-ray

years later this became in Kaiser's minds diabetic neuropathy

even off and on blood from an anal lesion didn't concern till recently

for one clawing problem 3 years later I received an ignored ultrasound

at the pain clinic the doctor's plans for treatment were buried below the ground.

What is causing these gnawing pain ailments, why not discover and heal me?

why use the scapegoat of mental illness and a desire to save money?

Why make medicines look like cotton candy, just so they get filled?

think of all the countless people who have been wounded and killed.

Kaiser Permanente, thanks for being a friend

thanks for your concern, you've really helped me mend

how I wish today were like the times of old

when doctors truly cared, leaving no one in the cold.

Yes I agree. I do a lot of herbal cures. I know many and i have many good books on natural cures. Years ago I had a headache for three months. Doctors gave me 10 tests and found nothing. I went to the herbal cure book. Told me to drink a bottle of cranberry juice for three days and each day after drink a complete glass. By the second day. Headaches was gone. My body needed a proper cleaning. No profit for Doctors if we do not take useless test. We are in trouble. USA brought in a system that payed the Doctors millions and expect low prices. Won't work. There is no common sense logic in Washington D.C. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

Thank you. I have a few books on herbs & remedies to help, need better books, my allergies have made me have to quit some herbs, like Mullein leaf which helped my ear pain. Still seeking natural help.

Thanks for all the truth you brought to us on health care. Doctors get kick backs on all the perscriptions they write whether they work or not. Another sad truth now is the insurance companys designate where to get your perscriptions filled so you pay less but then they charge a monthly fee to you. I don't get this except another way of robbing consumers especially seniors on medicare who need suppliments to help pay what medicare doesn't pay. I feel sure the insurance companys get their share of kick backs & God only knows the fraud when we are charged for care doctors or hospitals did'nt even provide. Just my opinion. Maybe herbal cures are the best & less drugs that hurt our bodies more than they help.

The one important thing in healthcare is being left out these days. It's the diagnose and healing part.
Now a days it just seems most healthcare is just throwing drugs at the symptoms until one makes the
patient happy. It doesn't matter all the "side effects' that happen, including death. They aren't really side effects, just effects you don't want. Thrive? That's questionable.

Such a true poem. I've had problems and gone to the doctor. All the wanted to do was give me medication and not bother to find out what the problem was. It just seems to me they want to get you out of their office as soon as possible. I suppose its going to get worse now. A well written and creative impressive poem. :)

Yes, so true. Healthcare isn't healthcare anymore. Doctors throw lethal littlte pills at patients and that is suppose to solve the problem. More likely it will put the patient in the grave. A sad reality for sure. Better to go the natural way. An outstanding poem!!!!
