About the cruelty of neighbors.

Love thy neighbor

brings me sad laughter

countless people don't care

about how their neighbors fare

some are cold and mean

this I have seen

makes me want to scream

don't dance upon God's dream

don't dance upon my mind

why are you so unkind

why don't you care

about how your neighbors fare

love thy neighbor

brings me sad laughter

Most neighbors don't have a clue about who lives there or even what the commandment means because they can't see any farther than their own life.

Having neighbors can be a nightmare sometimes. Some people do what ever they want, not caring if it disturbs those around them. Such people I hate them! I've been there. An excellent and well written poem@

Now, that's a hard thing to do. I don't have close neighbors and how thankful I am for that.
No screaming, no fighting, no loud music comes my way from uncaring and self-absorbed
people. Good poem, fir sure.
