Grey squirrels chitter in old oak trees there is a frosty cold ice breeze ivory skeleton trees sway grey clouds eclipse a clear blue day
I'm walking far and long whistling a strange song beneath veins of limbs along a winding trail flickering above the Winter birds sail
The grey day slowly fades to night and the ivory moon shines her mystic light she chases the shadow of clouds away here the twilight creatures play
The star of Christ is shimmering so bright cutting through the black of the night I ask Him for the world to shine bathed in peace, bliss, love, and wine
A very beautiful poem, magical and spiritual. It flows so beautifully to the ending highlight. Prayer and good and powerful and does work. One must believe. Outstanding imagery in your poem. You write in such a powerful way, very skillfully you weave your magic words into masterpieces.

A very very beautiful poem. Very lovely and enchanting. It's very mystical and I love the ending...full of promise and hope. Very well crafted and written. Your talent shines bright with this poem.
Love the flow of the poem and the way you describe the characteristics of winter. Nice how you put some religion in there, too. Makes it that much more heartfelt.
