Otherworld AutumnA Poem by Eric CoxWritten for the group Shades of Light.Shades of orange bleed in a cold Autumn sky
an ancient world where hues of fire tie shades of red touch the fir mirrored trees burning aglow the leaves sway painted orange, red and yellow as soft winds blow the crimson mountains capped by scarlet flames of snow in the sun industry to never choke the land, wild beauty never undone the winding rivers, lakes and oceans shimmer orange reflecting the sky the pink blossoms of Spring have wilted, soon fiery leaves shall drift from on high the beautiful chimes of bird song have faded, only the ice birds sing one sweet haunting melody as over the Autumn trees they wing the dawn of frost clings to the blood red grass glistening in the fire red sun a cool caress of a breeze sweeps across the eternal flame swept region soon the orange blaze of sky shall bleed to crimson hues of the eve three blood fire moons in a star painted sky as otherworld beauty weaves © 2012 Eric CoxReviews
