Lost In Ether Zones

A poem about sleep.

Sleep sleep, good for the bones
sleep sleep, lost in ether zones
numb to the world we just knew
a realm of dreams sweeping through
comfort seeps deep to our cores
virtual scenes opened through doors
anything is possible when dreams ignite
in intense beauty or deep black night
soaring through the sky caught within a breeze
walking along a shore of tranquil seas
connecting with loved ones who've passed
wishing these virtual visits always cast
strange worlds with colors aglow
the realm of dreams squelching each woe
hoping for beauty to deeply entwine
hoping for comfort caressing divine
Sleep sleep, good for the bones
sleep sleep, lost in ether zones

lost in a realm where any wish can brew

This is very creative, love the fun feel to your poem. As your poem says, sleep does take is to all sorts of wonderful and superfantastical places. We meet loved ones who are no longer with us, we go to places that don't exist and encounter objects that don't exist either Your rhyming in this piece is excellent as well as the flow of which makes it fun to read. I like the repetition and the description of sleep. Sleep make us strong and allow us to prepare for upcoming days. I did like the ending. Dreams that we can set-up lead up to good places. Hard to set-up a dream. I like the thoughts in the excellent poetry.
