One Day

post panic attack babble

there has to be hope somewhere

in something

beyond the pain and tears and ache

there has to be more

we were made for more

I want to remember it all,

even if it feels like I can’t take it because

one day I will look back

 and know that those hard times made me who I am today.

one day I will smile at them with strength and embrace them

as one embraces an old friend.
