Life As We Know It

To live and let live,

letting people down.
Dream it.
Do it.
Don't question it.
Hang limits and rules to the wall.
La vida es muy preciosa.
So why is it so often thrown away?
The heart before the head- no that's not right.
It simply won't do.
Who claimed the heart can't hurt the dreamers, the doers?
They were right.
The dreamers can dream, the doers can do-
living whole heartedly and free.
But the ones left living behind, are left with nothing.
Emptiness. Loneliness.
To suffer and let suffer is wrong, but right because it's true.
Only God can heal those left behind,
only He can patch what the dreamers have broken.
Life is surely to live, yes-
but how much is one willing to let die 
so one can let live?
