I Always Like Summer Best

I always like summer best

you can eat watermelon and oranges

from fruit stands

and pineapples

and smoothies

and pasta salad

and bunches of

       strawberries

and ice cream

and hot dogs

at the beach and barbeques

and listen to

The Beach Boys

in the sand

and go on vacation with

with my family

and read on the grass

and lay in a hammock

while doing  nothing but watching the clouds in the crisp blue sky.
