FANDABBY

The answer to a "poetic challenge" (See note below.)

they call me insane,

but I'm just fandabby,

mad-dashingly summoning aratistic

ecstasies.

I'm insatiably alienated,

vacationing on galaxy rainbows,

where they can't find me, and

persecute my abstract touches

of artistry.

I'm inexorably impossible,

sleeping in a destination at

the ends of earth, yet

feeling the universe inside

from a nonlinear perspective,

and prospectively, I expect

to meditate on transparent

moons, invisible to the naked

eye, yet visible to

the naked

mind

inside.

HAHAHA, freaking love it! Especially the FANDABBY imagery. You trip us through a psychedelic word ramble that spins creatively through our heads. I think I am starting to see tracers. Hahaha. Love this Eric, and yay for using Noodle doodle's amazing word... seriously she needs a dictionary on here! lol Very well done, sir!

Thanks so much K!! I enjoy doing these trippy poems (and believe it or not, they have very little drug influence). What do you mean by "tracers"? Colors? And yes, noodle does need her own dictionary...though I think "fandabby" means about the same as "fantastic" or "hunky-dory."

Yes, I was seriously asking! As for how I get inspired, that changes quite often...sometimes someone will just say a word ("fandabby," for instance), and that will spark something. Other times, there's an experience that has an effect on me (like visiting a certain city). But it's something we can talk more about if you're interested!

Haha, KL! I'm not sure what that says about you either, but I will say that not all of these are based on drug experiences. Some of them are more spiritual in nature, but I sometimes find that those two cross over. Know what I mean?

Awww, thanks noodle! It took me awhile to come up with something, but I'd been wanting to do it for awhile. Glad it came out great!! I still want to collab with you sometime, but things have been crazy over here. Can we do a nursery rhyme about a creepy jack-in-a-box? That just hit me.
