Aurora Interiora

Aurora Interiora

A Poem by Eric Pudalov
"

A spiritual poem, loosely inspired by the aurora phenomenon.

"
mysterious indigo
waves sweep across nightly
riverscapes, enveloped then
by clover flames...

glimmering violet towers
stand over me, leaving me
wordless, in the midst of
golden poltergeist winds...

who created this incandescent
umbra, the dazzling inner
sky thunder? I cannot
speak the purple breaths
in proper cadence, for to
try to do so would fall short
of the telepathic beauty
dancing
within

me.

As someone who is fascinated by the aurora borealis, I loved reading this poem.

The world was supposedly started by the "big bang" theory which states that everything in the universe was created by dust. Your reference to this "telepathic beauty" dancing within you reminds me of the "big bang" theory.

Once again, beautiful work xx

I wasn't sure if this was a piece about experiencing "colours" during your brain tumour, or if it was about enjoying the beauty of the inside of your own mind. Either way, its imagery is rich and enjoyable. I have experienced these "colours" in a few circumstances -- the P.G. ones would be during meditation. I enjoyed this write.
