The Dish (for N o o d l e h e a d)

The Dish (for N o o d l e h e a d)

A Poem by Eric Pudalov
"

This poem is dedicated to my friend and fellow poet, N o o d l e h e a d. Bon appetit!

"
In the Italian masterpiece,
Have you ever given thought
To the N o o d l e?

Not just any, but the
one at the very epicenter,
the N o o d l e h e a d!

She who writes her deepest
emotions upon the
delicate dough,
weaving them invisibly
into the recipe
for you to taste.

She serves a language lasagna,
Verses baked to perfection,
Spicy verbs with verisimilitude,
With a palette for prepositions.

And we, the customers and critics,
Eagerly devour that which was concocted in the kitchen...

However, we may still
miss the N o o d l e h e a d,
for she prefers to remain
anonymous,
behind the doors
of the dish,

smiling.

You know sometimes I am actually am at a loss for words *scratching my head* but what a scrumptious write. I mean that as much literal as metaphorically and NH must be feeling extra good about herself right now that everybody's appetite has upped. This is so tasty :).
