Thanks Vian! Glad you liked it so much. And yes, I know what a viola is! I grew up playing in school band, and just have a love of instruments in general. I'm a casual alto sax player/singer. Are you a musician, by any chance?

I'm a violist too and I hate (strongly dislike) it when people say "What's a viola?" or "Don't you mean violin?" or "Violas are the same thing as a violin." It is my biggest pet peeve! I also play the trombone in my school jazz band and I used to play clarinet or bass clarinet in symphony but as I improved on the viola it became my main instrument. In short, yes, I am a musician.

No, I realize the viola is much smaller than a violin, and if I'm not mistaken, higher-pitched? I don't play any string instruments, but I can certainly appreciate their music. I suppose out of all those the clarinet is the closest to alto sax! I would love to learn some other woodwinds at some point. :-)

You just killed me Eric, violas are larger and lower and have a C string rather than a high E which the violins have. I adore learning different instruments just because I love the sound and style that every instrument is capable of.

Oh I thought I knew more than I did...shoit! By that same token, did you know there are bass and contrabass saxophones? :-)

I vaguely knew that there were many different saxophones and wouldn't have put it past them to have both, hehe. I've only met as low as baritone sax, though.

I'm a sucker for sunset's so anytime there is a title with sunset in it I come a runnin'. Ah you're teasing me here but I loved it anyway. Just lavish me with more on the sunset next time ok :).

OK, certainly! I think I've been obsessed with haikus and other Japanese poetry forms recently. I tend to write a lot, so it's a challenge to write 5-7-5.
