All of You

All of You

A Poem by E.P. Robles

While life stands still,
I see all of you.
Everything unmoving,
yet I move through life.
All of myself,
thinking of you.
Time, once frozen,
now thaws with love
but I never forget
the touch of your words,
just yours.
You said you no longer
love me,
that I would never wear
the golden ring. Still
Still, life stands still,
and I see all of you.
Though love unreturned
may ache and burn
its light remains
forever undimmed.
For love is its own,
a radiant flame
needing no answer,
only to give.
