LAVENDER BLOOM

LAVENDER BLOOM

A Poem by E.P. Robles
"

Engulfed. Mouth.

"
I knelt by the lavender,
its spires swaying like prayers
whispered into the vastness.

I took a single stem"
twisting gently, releasing its secret"
a breath of calm, a song of dusk.

The air turned fragrant and slow,
as though the world itself
paused to inhale.

Above, the first stars gathered
in their eternal councils,
while the trees nodded knowingly.

And there, beneath the unfolding sky,
I became a part of it all"
the pulse of the earth,
the quiet celebration of being alive.

The bloom spoke no words,
yet it taught me everything:
how to let go,
how to linger,
how to trust the night.

The entirety of this beautiful poem played out in slow motion before my eyes. I am very fond of lavender, it is so calming and its scent reassuring. I felt at one with nature after reading. Many thanks EPR. Good to read you again.
