Beneath the Sacred Canopy

Beneath the Sacred Canopy

A Poem by E.P. Robles
"

A poem about love and nature.

"

Beneath the sacred canopy,
Where whispers of the forest sigh,
Come, Mallika, with me, you’ll see
The world in hues of emerald sky.

The lotus blooms, a fragrant spell,
In waters pure, reflecting grace,
While secrets that the flowers tell
Adorn the beauty of your face.

The shadows dance in dappled light,
A symphony of green and gold,
In this serene and gentle night,
A tale of love begins to unfold.

The river sings its lullaby,
As breezes weave through ancient trees,
And stars align in the velvet sky,
Their shimmer soft, a tender tease.

Come, Mallika, let us be free,
Within this temple nature’s made,
Beneath the sacred canopy,
In dreams where love shall never fade.

What lies beneath the sacred canopy is passion, entwined love, a musical symphony.....two people who have the privacy they so desperately need...."as breeze wave through ancient trees"...."the shadows dance in dappled light"...i love every word of this piece...the structure and how it flows like a river...
beautiful!

There are places where only the knowing know what is real, true and valued. The Everything has nothing else to compare, it is what it is: eternal faith, enduring love and respect, ethics and a deep-rooted recognition that life encloses every shade of beauty in what we daily glance and move from. Wrong! How f superbly you have recognised what and how that IS: pure light, what lives in sound and sight, stepping into what is around the human being's spirit , Many say that;s fanciful and theatrical but.. it all and more exists.

'The river sings its lullaby,
As breezes weave through ancient trees,
And stars align in the velvet sky,
Their shimmer soft, a tender tease.'

Beneath an Emerald Sky where the Forest sighs.. Jack in the Pulpit and Lady Slippers sleep and weep for the People in the Village as they Pray for Peace and Prosperity. Gently, Pat
