ONE LEG UPON A ROCK

ONE LEG UPON A ROCK

A Poem by E.P. Robles
"

Poem.

"
She is standing on my thoughts,
And her lips are next to me,
She has the form of my hands,
She has the words of my mouth,
She is swallowed by my shadow
Like a rock kissing the sky.
Her hands are always open
And will always grasp me.
Her dreams at moonlit night
Makes the sun evaporate
Makes me laugh, cry and scream,
Speaking always with nothing to say.

This is a very visceral piece of work. Sweet and heartbreaking at the same time.
