LISTEN ATHENA!

LISTEN ATHENA!

A Poem by E.P. Robles
"

A beautifully crafted invocation to Athena, the goddess of wisdom, intertwining themes of nature, emotion, and the quest for deeper understanding.

"
Dear!  Broken is the heart
  if nature not adored
and if zip-splashed colors
 upon tender Spring petals
does not soften the Soul!

And brevity like sudden
 delight pleases reading
eyes!

In whispered winds, Athena,
hear the call, where murmurs
of ancient trees enthrall,
each leaf a tale of wisdom,
subtly told, in nature's embrace,
life's mysteries unfold.

O goddess of insight, grant us
eyes to see == the dance of seasons,
a timeless reverie, for in Earth's
tapestry, woven with care,
;ies the essence of existence,
so rare and fair.

Author's Note

E.P. Robles
"LISTEN ATHENA!" was inspired by my reverence for nature and my exploration of the human connection to the natural world. I aimed to evoke a sense of wonder and introspection through the mythical invocation of Athena and the imagery of life's mysteries unfolding in nature's embrace.

I read this three times, and I just memorized by your words.
I can feel the rage of emotions for the world.
It has me pondering about people and the universe as it stands now,
and the way it could be. Nicely written.

The revenge of beauty is an interesting one. Is that why some people kill for it or die for it?
