A THOUSAND WORDS FILLING THE VOID OF NOISY CITY LIFE

A THOUSAND WORDS FILLING THE VOID OF NOISY CITY LIFE

A Poem by E.P. Robles

you're irresponsible!
  beating my blue tongue
i had the epiphany
 of the divine
  supernatural being
so Jesus wears gold chains
  reaching for burritos
inside a cold freezer!
And I hadn't had a piece
of *** forever!
  the funny dog rubs
his *** on shag carpet
  and my drink o'Merlot
spilled a splash of
Van Gogh on my impressive
chest -- it's not like breasts
but like the invincible
unobtainium of my brain
Geeks.
Screaming crows on my fence
keep Emily away -- gee i c
she buried a brass tube
in her garden -- one more
solo?  Hey!  Yeah!
She took the drums
beating feathers like a fly
buzzing the death of our
souls!

Coming from NYC, if you listen to chatter as you walk the busy streets, this is exactly what you will hear, nonsense... just little pieces of conversation that mean nothing to you....but it goes on day in and all night long.... moments of chatter....
NICE!
