I HUNGER FOR YOUA Poem by E.P. RoblesIs it not 2023 October? Halloween? Let us devour a vampire poem.In twilight's somber weep, the moon's gray hue, I pine for dreams, as tear-streaked night I knew. Our forms, bedewed, in love's tender embrace, Drown within the tides of passion's grace. The heart, ravenous, in its wild plea, I drank your essence, as love does decree. Desire, an unquenchable, relentless art, I'll ever ache, insatiable for your heart. Not in games of chance, nor candle's glow, Shall this yearning cease, nor passions grow. My traitor, jealousy's searing bite, Yet, still I thirst, your essence my delight. :: 10.04.2023 ::
