SAND'S DOMAIN

SAND'S DOMAIN

A Poem by E.P. Robles
"

MY poem exhibits a rich and evocative language, utilizing vivid imagery and metaphors. I paint a picture of the desert landscape and its mystical allure, capturing the essence of the desert as a place

"
Who sowed the heavens in ardent sand's domain?

Those seekers of life beneath wind's tender grace,
Chasing vaporous dreams, breathless they remain,
For they hold the essence, earth's purest trace.

Content are the watchers of desert's deep sea,
Pursuing the fennec, beyond elusive veil,
As sun's weary wings falter on horizon's plea,
Eternal summer laughs, while wet grave wails.

Yet bedridden rocks echo a silent cry,
In impassive skies, desert still roars its might,
A steadfast eye lingers, where shadows lie,
Like dawn's lone eagle soaring, steadfast in flight.

Death claims the dew, swallowed by its breath,
The snake smothers the rat, fate's woven spell,
Nomad, in his tent, listens to time's screech,
And all awaits a spoken word, a tale to tell.

Somewhere, elsewhere, a prophecy is declared,
In insomnia's gravel, secrets yet concealed,
In desert's heart, whispers, ethereal and shared,
Awaiting revelation, in sands unconcealed.

E.P. Robles
I sometimes write long expressions about my poems. Do I cheat others to understand my words? I think it's best I leave it alone and allow others to discern what I am writing.
