A HUNDRED POEMS – LI

A HUNDRED POEMS – LI

A Poem by E.P. Robles
"

THIS poem beautifully captures the essence of creation and the act of bringing something into existence through human hands.

"
TODAY I saw creation

          in that act of submission
          with my human hands
          a crafted answer

"      did I do
Not of God-breath
or cosmic fire-brew
but through a passion
deeply"passion dew___

My works of art, live!

A life longer than my own
my love, to you I give
what is love if not art
then nothing of me!

Author's Note

E.P. Robles
This piece of prose emphasizes the passion and dedication that fuels the creative process.

The imagery of "God-breath" and "cosmic fire-brew" adds a mystical touch, suggesting that creations are inspired by a force beyond the physical realm.

The lines "My works of art, live! A life longer than my own" convey the idea that this poet's art has a lasting impact, transcending mortality.

The concluding line connects love and art, implying that love itself is a form of artistry.

Here is a new poem I wrote after realizing what I wrote:

In twilight's gentle embrace, I see
The dance of colors, the symphony of glee
With brush in hand, my spirit unfurls
From depths of passion, creation swirls

Through strokes and shades, I whisper dreams
A tapestry woven, a world that gleams
Each stroke a tale, a verse untold
Unveiling emotions, in hues of gold

Beyond the realm of time's cruel grasp
My art shall linger, an eternal clasp
A testament of love's profound embrace
Transcending boundaries, leaving no trace

For what is love if not a masterpiece?
An artist's touch, a sweet release
In every brushstroke, I breathe life anew
And offer my heart's creation to you!

a hundred poems, fifty poems or one poem...all are an act of submission to our art...
as poets we feel passion as do others but perhaps we just channel it differently...
