REFLECTIONS OF LOVE

REFLECTIONS OF LOVE

A Poem by E.P. Robles
"

"Reflection of Love" is one poem that holds dear to my heart. I wrote it in five minutes. Maybe less -- I was in a reverie as I find myself at times.

"
As my sensational sensual moments bleed away and are no more seen by the vilest minds

my face deep within the riches of Earth’s soil away from unthought wars!

Unburdened by high wilt of human rine"

as pure Love has championed over darkly love.

And smallest voices as new born children spiritually cries of Spring keeping new born

butterflies afloat, is where Love strives

as droll god-beasts!

Such is the dance of perception as a reflection

through a prism; or early morning dew drop.

Time that not be for us " as purple roses

are sweeter to the but for me: deeper!

As the poet of this piece allow me to analyze the poem "Reflection of Love."

This poem explores themes of love, the fleeting nature of sensual moments, the triumph of pure love over darker emotions, and the beauty found in the smallest voices and natural phenomena.

The poem opens with a powerful juxtaposition between the sensational sensual moments of my heart and the minds of the vilest individuals.
This more than suggests that I, the poet, have experienced love and sensuality intimate and profound, contrasting with the baseness of some human minds. It implies that love holds a transcendental quality that can elevate one's spirit above the darkness of the world.

The following lines describe detachment from the conflicts and wars of the world, finding solace deep within the riches of Earth's soil. This imagery conveys a sense of grounding and rootedness, as if I the poet has found a sanctuary away from the turmoil of human existence. It speaks to the idea that love can provide refuge and respite from the chaotic nature of society.

The phrase "unburdened by high wilt of human rine" suggests that I have freed myself from the constraints and decay of worldly desires and shallow love. Instead, I have embraced a purer form of love that transcends the limitations and imperfections of human relationships. This line evokes the idea that genuine love is enduring and untainted by superficiality.

The poem then introduces the concept of the "dance of perception," comparing it to a reflection through a prism or an early morning dew drop. This imagery implies that love, like perception, can refract and illuminate different facets of reality. It suggests that love allows us to see the world from multiple angles and experience its beauty and complexity in unique ways.

The closing lines allude to the ephemeral nature of time and emphasize my deep connection with love.

The mention of purple roses being sweeter "to the but for me: deeper!" conveys a personal and profound experience of love. It suggests that my perception of love goes beyond surface-level appreciation, delving into its essence and capturing its profound sweetness.

Overall, "Reflection of Love" explores love as a transformative and transcendent force that elevates the individual beyond the limitations of the world. It portrays love as a source of solace, beauty, and profound connection. As a poet using words to wield emotion and thoughts, I have attempted to employ vivid imagery and contrasting ideas to evoke a sense of depth and intensity in the experience of love.

Oh my E.P. it appears I can not pull myself away from reading your work...but I must as I am working on a new poem of mine and want to finish it...today??
I too often write out a poem in minutes... Sometimes with pen and paper while waiting for someone or something...This also happens when I paint... Some of my best watercolored paintings were down in minutes...Creatively has no boundaries..
Love is the connection we all seem to seek. We want to hold onto those precious moments.
Yor vivid imaginary works well in this poem as it has infall that I have read of yours thus far.
I find these words of your captivating...
And smallest voices as new born children spiritually cries of Spring keeping new born

butterflies afloat, is where Love strives

as droll god-beasts!
I really like the thought of new born butterflies..
Did you notice the weird question marks in your writing?
I have seen this in mine when Writerscafe doesn't like something...
Wonderful, fulfilling read,
Lisa
