Remember the Days

Remember the Days

A Poem by EMP

Remember the days,

When we used to be fine.

No cares at all,

Whether it was rain or shine.

Remember the days,

When we were innocent and young.

Pretending we were witches,

Playing games and having fun.

Remember the days,

When we used to be shy.

But then we got hyper,

Happy and high!

Remember the days,

When we talked all the time.

And missing a night,

Would be like a crime.

But now we've grown older,

We're falling apart.

At least we understand,

and we're in each other's hearts.

I liked this poem...the whole nostalgic feel it had to it. 'Remember the days' I think is something everyone can relate to (over a certain age, at least), and has probably said at some point in their life. Beautifully written.
