Love is like a Presidential Election

You can debate it till your left alone in bed

Love is like yesterdays erection

Sometimes it's all just a fantasy in our heads

 

Maybe we’re just tadpoles, kicking at the edges of history like animations in a stream

 

Maybe we knew each other than, crept into the light and discovered life is but a dream

 

Maybe with the millenniums of change, God made sure we’ve arrived at this point in time to.

 

I’ll take that chance, love is like a dance, and darling I want to keep on evolving with you.

 

Love is like drive-in movie feature

As you watch another world through a laminated glass

Love is like your third grade teacher

She meant well but would still let you fall on your a*s

 

Love is like watching the big dipper

Sometimes it takes patience to see it just right

Love is like pink fuzzy bunny slippers

Awkward indeed but will keep you warm at night

Very interesting and unique.
Almost every line was my favorite because they were all so catchy and brilliant.
I really loved it.
If I had to choose the most powerful line to me for some reason I would choose:
"Maybe we're just tadpoles, kicking at the edges of history like animations in a stream"
That came to me really strong.
The whole piece is amazing and I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to add it on here.
