The Bridge

The Bridge

A Poem by Ryan Luse

THE BRIDGE
a Ryan Luse jam

(verse 1)
Remember me waiting on the left side
Past the haze you're standing on my right
Below us was an ocean of all we've manifested
And I wasn't ready to leave your site

Take another step while the sun shines on your face

Afterall it was you who picked out this place

(Chrous)
Meet in the middle
I'm not the far away
I promise I won't leave
Once you're in my arms to stay
This bridge we stand on
Won't always hold our feet
That's why the middle just may be
Our greatest feat

So let's walk on….

(Verse 2)
I love the way you look when you're hesitating
The way your hair flows with the light
I can almost touch your hand now
If the world could see use now
What a brilliant site

Let's just smile as we are being pulled
And let the spinning cosmos grab ahold

(Chrous)
Meet in the middle
I'm not the far away
I promise I won't leave
Once you're in my arms to stay
This bridge we stand on
Won't always hold our feet
That's why the middle just may be
Our greatest feat

So let's walk on

So let's walk on...
