Middle Man

Middle Man

A Poem by Ryan Luse

        MIDDLE MAN

                                   - A Ryan Luse song

Chrods: Am, C, F C A D7
Halfway Inbetween a hazy dream and your old baseball team.
Between the rift lies a gift, the darkness that made you shift

Theres got to be a Middleman
A Middleman with two 2 left feet and one right hand
Theres got to be a Middleman
A Middle Man, A Middleman to sway.

Balancing and swaying is careless playing and apologetic praying
Its halfway in a song, your forgotten wrong, the road life put you on.
Its the dream before you see, the chains of the free, that cloud of serendipity.

Theres got to be a Middleman
A Middleman with two 2 left feet and one right hand
Theres got to be a Middleman
A Middle Man, A Middleman to sway.

Reprise:
Move me grove me shake me and slap me in the face
I wanna travel with your lights open up eyes and embrace
Sometime you got to see hell before you get to heaven above
But the only place I can sense is happening here on the ground.

Theres got to be a Middleman
A Middleman with two 2 left feet and one right hand
Theres got to be a Middleman
A Middle Man, A Middleman to sway.
