Take You With Me

Take You With Me

A Poem by Ryan Luse

                                     Take You With Me

                                         a Ryan Luse jam

If I were an astronaut, the cosmos I would sought, blackholes light up my thoughts
While comets float by with glee

My spaceships speed, on its noble deed, and I would choose to the lead
And I'll take you with me

I would take you with me.

If I were a foreign Czar, driving a flashy car, traveling oh so far
Change through diplomacy
Nations cheer, destiny I shall steer, and hold you through the tears
And I'll take you with me

I would take you with me.

If I were a man of God, with faith like a lightning rod, living off cape cod
And begin to part the sea
I'll preach of love, and look to the heavens above, and its you I'll dream of
And I'll take you with me

I would take you with me.
