Your Highness

Your Highness

A Poem by Ryan Luse

Your highness

a ryan luse jam

Verse 1

Climb into my cab drawn by the crayons of time

Gaze at the signs and see madness of our prime

God does construction from a roadside rocking chair

Hold on to your mind dear, and melt with me aware

Well your highness, are we getting there?

Verse 2

Turn me on with music that's thumps from above

Smile out the window till it builds a bridge of love

Our thoughts cascade the moonlight of infinite glare

Take the holy detour on the highway of our prayers

Well your Highness, are we getting there?

Verse 3

Time whirls on dangerously the more the streets rain

You're reading my meter like whisky hitting the brain

Two faraway lights that life's shadow can never tear

The crash comes hard and it's too beautiful to bare

Well your Highness, are we getting there?

???
