Love She Waits

Love She Waits

A Poem by Ryan Luse

               Love She Waits

                                    a ryan luse jam

If this crazy word would end the ride on Tuesday
And the coasts tumble into waves of teary night
And life's disco ball shuts her wobbling eyes forever
Would we meet while we are walking towards the light?

Love she waits, I'll ride far
I'll wait for love, till the moon melts the dawn
Love she waits, my twinkling star
I'll wait for you, till our last breaths are gone

Baby I know you're coming, can you hear my voice?
I'll shout love- loud, bright and clear
Love she waits, we'll wait on.

If I wrote you in a song, and painted your symphony
And tomorrow we pass each other on a busy, city day
Would the ripples of life, whisper the notes to our souls
And you'll turn around, and I'll be open arms halfway

Love she waits, Can you hear my call?
I'll wait for love, till dreams and fate collide
Love she waits, my radiant all
I'll wait for you, till the world stops the ride

Baby I know you're coming, can you hear my voice?
I'll shout love-loud, bright and clear
Love she waits, we'll wait on.

We'll wait on…
