Lost For The Last Time

Lost For The Last Time

A Poem by Ryan Luse

Lost for the Last Time

a ryan luse jam
The maze of love can be fun when you're seventeen
But now it's dim and gray
It's like seeing your soulmate on the movie screen
Folding her hands to pray

So grab ahold, you free anchor you
And now here comes the sly complacent blue
And I know, next time around that bend
I just might be lost for the last time
Again

Our story book thus far has been thrown around
I remember the spot you marked
I am dizzy with those painted pages upside down
To make it out with a final spark

So grab ahold, you free anchor you
And now here comes the sly complacent blue
And I know, next time around that bend
I just might be lost for the last time
Again

(additional chorus)

So I'm lost for the last time

Lost for the last time

I'll get out of this I'm sure

Yes, I'm lost for the last time

Lost for the last time

And I aint giving up

On her.
