Falling
Emotions are trapped strapped inside my chest
Like a gun locked and loaded waiting for my head to protest
Or suggest some other kind of manic test because
This idle request is something I cant digest
Addicted to the rush, nothing more than a lucid lush hooked up on this smashed crashed crush
I've come to understand that I am being driven by a mere illusion
That is nothing more but a certain delusion
Responsible for this utter confusion because there doesn't seem to be a damn conclusion
I am not falling into love
Because with you there is nothing to fall into or take hold of
And in the haze of wine it makes it easier to believe I am not being decieved
But why
Why would I risk these beautiful blue skies
To be with this guy who taught me that there is a good in goodbye
There's something that has gone terribly wrong here
And I can wait until the haze becomes clear
Or just try and deny this fatal attraction
That is nothing more than a simple chemical reaction
And I guess I just might be a crazy chemist with clenched fists
Hunched over bunson burners and test tubes aiming to make something exist
But it's just an illusion
This is just a delusion
Because falling would have me in love with you
And I know that you want to
So I'm just waiting until I hit the floor
This is contradicting everything that my heart beats for
You are the disease and the cure
