Pause, Rewind, Replay

This is about an old broken relationship..

Im watching you pass me by,

Holding back my tears, thoughts and feelings,

We were doing so well...

What went wrong?

 

Im driven back to the past,

Where I see every moment we had together,

How happy we were, how good those days were,

I wish I could pause time,

We could live there forever..

 

We cross each other

Look away, pretend not to notice,

We both dont know why we ended up here,

We both pretend the other doesnt exist

If these tears could wash away the pain,

If only I know what you're thinking,

If only I know how you feel,

Maybe I could move on,

Or baby, hold on,

Instead of being stuck in misery

 

If I could go back in time,

I would try to erase that day,

Id see nothing goes wrong,

Id do anything just to go back in time,

To start over...

I wrote this when I a fling broke off, Im over it, but I wrote this to get over the depression at that time..
