Heart's Joy

This is about simple joys of a mother like me.

An afternoon
When I am almost
At the door of boredom.

Tried to write my poem
But words and thoughts seem to elude me.
Alone at home and wondered where others could be.

Left my unfinished poem,
Ate my lunch,
And to my surprise!
My son JN sneaked at the room
And wrote on my notebook!

"I love you mama!"
All the while, it was all I needed
To put a smile on my face
And joy in my heart...
